Broiler Vaccination Calendar 2026: Dates, Drugs, Cost in Nigeria

This is the exact *vaccination schedule* I use for my broilers in Nigeria. Save it.


*BROILER VACCINATION CALENDAR 2026*

**Day 14** Lasota Booster Newcastle Drinking water ₦800 - ₦1,200

*Total Vaccine Cost for 100 birds: ~₦3,400 - ₦5,000*


*5 IMPORTANT RULES WHEN VACCINATING*


*1. Water Must Be Clean*

Don’t use chlorinated water. Leave water for 24hrs or use borehole. Chlorine kills the vaccine.


*2. Starve Them 1-2 Hours Before*

Remove water 1-2hrs before. So when you bring vaccine water, they drink fast within 1-2hrs.


*3. Use All Vaccine in 2 Hours*

Once mixed, vaccine dies after 2 hours. Mix only what they can finish.


*4. Milk Trick*

Add 2 spoon of powdered milk to 4L of water before adding vaccine. Milk neutralizes chlorine.


*5. Write It Down*

Put the dates on your wall. Don’t rely on memory. Day 7, 10, 14, 18.


*SIGNS VACCINATION FAILED*

1. Sudden deaths after day 14

2. Twisting of neck - Newcastle

3. Wet droppings + shivering - Gumboro

Agrited, CHI, Zartech, Nassarawa vet shops, and big poultry drug stores. Always check expiry date.
