Boko Haram Net Is Killing Your Birds. The one side of your poultry that's letting mosquitoes in.

Last week in my WhatsApp group, a farmer called Bros Gilbert said mosquitoes were disturbing his birds.


His exact words: "My pen only have boko haram net round" 😂


I checked and found the real problem. It wasn’t the whole pen.

It was just 1 side.


If your birds are growing slow, getting fowl pox, or dying mysteriously... mosquitoes might be the reason.


Here’s exactly what we found and how to fix it:


*1. How Mosquitoes Enter Your Pen*

Most farmers cover 3 sides and leave 1 side open "for air". That open side is where mosquitoes enter like NEPA. Especially if you’re backing a bush or fence.


*2. 3 Damages Mosquitoes Do To Birds*

- *Fowl Pox*: Black sores on comb and wattle. No cure.

- *Stress + Poor Feeding*: Birds can’t sleep. They grow slow.

- *Anaemia*: Too many bites = weak birds.


*3. 3 Cheap Ways To Stop Them Today*

1. *Change the net*: Use "small hole mosquito net" not "boko haram net". ~₦1500 per yard.

2. *Evening Spray*: Use 2L sprayer + DD Force. Spray walls 6pm. Open vent after 30mins.

3. *Clear the bush*: Cut grass + remove stagnant water around pen.

How I Reduced Mortality to 2% in Broilers

*Body:* I used to lose 50-80 birds every batch. Heartbreaking.  Last 3 batches? I lost only 10 out of 500. That's 2% mortality. Here's exactly what changed: *1.
