How we use 4 million to expend our poultry farm part 3

Welcome back to my people! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Thank you for the love on Part 1 and Part 2.

A lot of you DM’d me asking "Oga, what did you do with the remaining 4 million?"

Today I’ll break it down step by step. No hiding.

After using 1 million for startup, cages, first set of chicks and feed, we had ₦4,000,000 left.

Here’s exactly how we invested it to grow and make profit:

**1. Bigger & Better Housing - ₦1,200,000**

We expanded the poultry house. Added more pens, proper ventilation, and security.

No point growing if birds will be uncomfortable or thieves will visit.

We also installed drinkers and feeders that reduce waste.

**2. Bulk Feed & Storage - ₦1,000,000**

Feed is 70% of poultry cost. So we bought feed in bulk directly from the mill.

Cheaper + we stored it well so it won’t spoil.

This saved us almost 25% compared to buying small-small.

**3. More Day-Old Chicks in Batches - ₦800,000**

Instead of putting all eggs in one basket, we started buying chicks in batches.

Every 6 weeks, new batch enters.

That way we always have birds to sell and money keeps coming in.

**4. Equipment & Backup - ₦600,000**

We got a generator, solar lights, and incubator.

NEPA will disappoint you, but birds must eat and drink.

Also bought weighing scale, wheelbarrow, and vaccines in bulk.

**5. Marketing & Sales - ₦400,000**

We used this to brand, take good pictures, and run small ads.

Also set up WhatsApp business and delivery.

Customers started coming from Facebook and Jumia too.

**Total: ₦4,000,000** ✅

**Lesson I Learned:**

Don’t blow all your money at once. Grow in stages.

Reinvest profit. Track every naira.

**Coming Next - Part 4:**

How much profit are we making now? And the mistakes that almost killed the farm.
